ENVIRONMENT DAY 2024
‘Let’s nurture the Earth, so that we can have a better future’
World Environment Day is celebrated on 5th June annually to highlight the dangers to our natural world and urge people to protect it. The theme for this year’s celebration is ‘Land restoration, desertification and drought resilience’ under the slogan ‘Our Land, Our Future. Students of SSM PU College celebrated this Environment Day with great enthusiasm and respect towards Mother Earth.
As a tribute, students gifted a sapling to the principal, which was planted in the college campus. A wonderful dance about nature was performed by the students bringing awareness about the theme. A meaningful skit was performed by the students from science department. Lastly students were advised by our principal to keep the surroundings clean and make efforts to protect our nature.
